Mountain Marathon Season

Boot’s Blog – Autumn 2010 - The leaves are falling and there is a nip in the air... it must be mountain marathon time! We’ve had a great summer in the Lakes (outside the summer holiday period of course) and we’ve seen an exciting profusion of new adventurous outdoor events.

One of our favourites is always the Helvellyn triathlon and we always tri to support our human training partners during the event – it’s a tough race and a lick on the face at the summit always seems to motivate.

Our rucksack of choice for these events has always been the OMM range of ultralight rucksacks. Their versatility are the main attraction and we’ve used them for mountain marathons, mountain biking adventures, fell running, skiing and lightweight hiking.
