Trail Running in Snowdonia.
I recently stopped at the excellent Tyn y Coed Hotel at Capel Curig and managed to sneak in a cheeky bit of fell running while I was there. Heading straight for the obvious choice, I decided on Moel Siabod. It is hard to miss it from Capel as it pokes its pointy summit head out from the surrounding woodland and manages to look like a friendly route while at the same time maintaining a real mountain atmosphere. Open Water Swimming Guide

Open water swimming is swimming in open outdoor bodies of water, including lakes, rivers, reservoirs, oceans and bays.
It’s a quite different to swimming a pool, there are no lanes, no tiled walls, and no chlorine, less physical boundaries and perhaps more importantly, the environment is so incredibly different and varied.
The water feels freer and alive with nature, the depths are deeper, the colours wilder and the views can be breathtaking. The water can be as flat as glass or a lumpy as Lake District fells.
Dip your toe into another world because what lies beneath can also be fascinating.
