2XU T2 Team Wetsuit Features:

Body / Chest:
Yamamoto neoprene and SXS (silicone x skin ) coating gives optimal buoyancy which means less body in the water enabling a faster speed.
SXS coating reduces water resistance friction
One piece design, no seams, from the neck to the knee to reduce drag and increase speed through the water.No seams
Underarm /Lateral Panel:
Neoprene and inner lining materials give maximum flexibility which ensures a full unrestricted range of arm movement during the swimming stroke.
Flexibility allows a complete extension along the latissimus dorsi, the widest and most powerful muscle of the back, which means full unrestricted power.
Legs:
The upper legs have Yamamoto neoprene with optimised buoyancy with SCS coating.
The lower legs have a reduced Yamamoto neoprene 3mm panel to help with the run out of the water, and to remove the wetsuit with more ease.
Leg length can be trimmed to suit your kicking style.

Back Panel (Main Lateral & Lower back):
One piece 'floating zip panel', has flexible interaction with the underarm panel to allow the zip to float with body movement, yet is strong enough to contain the rigid zip and durable for repeated use.
The flexibility of floating zip back panel allows the zip to move with the body, especially when your arm makes its largest motion from your hip to water re-entry, requiring the wetsuit to stretch along your back and shoulder.
The 2XU floating back panel and the flexible 2mm underarm panel also enable better expansion of the chest cavity, therefore reducing restriction to breathing.
Seat and Crotch Panels:
These two panels are all about maximising buoyancy and optimal fitting shape so water does not gather in this region.
Utilising a lining which will hold its shape and support in a region where most of the power in the stroke can come from.
In utilizing materials which hold shape and support, plus compress the muscles in the buttock and higher leg this reduces fatigue and allows the muscle to be primed for greater power output.
Crotch panel also utilizes slightly thinner thickness to enhance the run out of the water without sacrificing the suits buoyancy.
Shoulder and Exterior Arm Panel:
Uses hyper flexible yet buoyant 2mm 39 cell Yamamoto neoprene, 2XU seamless shoulder panel allows for unrestricted movement.
Forearm Grip Panel:
Using Yamamoto mesh, this remains an uncoated surface to give this panel extra grip on the water
This mesh panel anchors the arm more effectively so the body can effectively flow through and past the planted forearm, enhancing your ability to pull yourself through the water.
Neck Panel:
Neckline with an adjustable fastening collar system, allowing you to personalize the fit and maintain the perfect balance between water intake and chaffing
Seamless front construction so less drag.
Only one seam on the inside allows less risk of chafing.
Invisible Zip:
The 2XU zip is manufactured from reliable light and strong material, positioned behind the back panel lapels to reduce water intake and
streamlined for speed.
